Specialist behavioural and regulation-focused training for frontline professionals working in high-pressure environments including policing, custody, prisons, veterans services, and high-risk operational settings.
Why The Training Was Created
Jack’s Place Training was developed from the work of Jack’s Place Men’s Mental Health — a project created to support men and help prevent suicide.
Over the years, through direct conversations, frontline support work, and helping individuals in high-pressure and complex situations, it became increasingly clear that there was a missing link between awareness and practical understanding — particularly around behaviour, emotional regulation, stress, trauma, neurodivergence, and communication.
As demand for support and guidance continued to grow, it became clear that the knowledge and strategies being used needed to be shared on a wider scale within organisations and professional environments.
The Gap In Existing Training
While many organisations already provide strong training around conflict management, officer safety, communication, and vulnerability awareness, there is often less focus on the psychological and behavioural drivers behind escalation.
The aim of Jack’s Place Training is not to replace existing training, but to provide an additional behavioural and regulation-focused layer that supports safer interactions, improved communication, and better outcomes for both staff and the public.
