Supporting men in prison, in crisis, and in the system
At Jack’s Place, we know that mental health struggles don’t happen in isolation — they often collide with broken systems. That’s why we now offer independent legal advocacy for men who are navigating prison, mental health services, or public bodies. Whether you’re facing injustice inside the system or trying to support a loved one from the outside, you don’t have to do it alone.
What We Offer
We provide non-legal support and advocacy in the following areas:
– Prisoner & Family Support: Help understanding the system, writing complaints, preparing for parole, or securing transfers to appropriate mental health units.
– Mental Health & Neurodivergence Advocacy: Support with care plans, NHS complaints, access to services, and tribunal preparation.
– Legal Complaints & Rights-Based Challenges: Assistance with formal complaints to public bodies, preparing subject access or freedom of information requests, and challenging poor treatment through proper channels.
– Navigating the System: Guidance on how to access legal help, communicate with professionals, and hold institutions accountable.
How It Works
This is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice or representation in court. We are here to stand beside you with experience, knowledge, and compassion — helping you navigate your rights and amplify your voice.
